      PCOS & IVF Treatment in India

      PCOS is also termed as Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome and it is a leading cause of infertility in women. The actual cause of PCOS is unknown, but doctors attribute the major causes to lifestyles and hormonal imbalances.       Hereditary factors

      Problems with the periods

      Women with changes in their periods have to be cautious. A normal period has an average of 28 days, though until 35 can be normal. Changes in the weather or weight may cause irregularities of the periods, but where there are no such cases, a gynae must be consulted. Heavy or increased pain full periods can also be a sign of PCOS

      Body changes

      Where a woman gets more acne than usual, it means that there is something wrong in the body. It can be accompanied by excessive hair growth on the body which also includes in the facial regions. This means that there is more androgen production in the body than estrogen

      A woman needs a proper balance of hormones, namely progesterone, estrogen, and testosterone, which is needed in lower quantity. Once the body lacks these hormones and it is supplied with androgen, PCOS may be the problem, hence leading to infertility

        • In case a woman is overweight, she is advised to reduce the weight and this can be done by practicing a good lifestyle which also includes having a good diet. Exercising regularly is also advisable.
        • It is important that a woman treats the cysts with attention since it may increase the chances of diabetes and cancer
        • Having the right meals can help control the insulin levels. With this, eat cereals, fruits and vegetables.
