Fresh Embryo transfer – It is a process in which fertilized eggs are being transmitted to the uterus of the intended mother few days after the egg retrieval. There is a quite possibility that the ovary of the women may come from an egg donor. To make sure, there are number of eggs which are fertilized and tested in the lab. Using the sperm from the male partner or a sperm donor, it becomes easy to fertilize the eggs in the lab. Whenever women undergo with the different kind of activities like simulation, then the harvested egg is ready to synchronize between the embryo and the remaining embryos are considered as the frozen. Women may have the infertility treatment in many IVF centre and they can also undergo for the IVF treatment which is very useful for them.

Frozen Embryo transfer – In short it is called FET; it basically includes the usage of embryos that have been utilized previously somehow and being frozen. In many cases it can be seen that people prefer frozen transfer as compared to the fresh transfer as to determine the chromosomes status of the embryo is much easier to check as well as it also allows for testing the desired results to be obtained.

Comparison between the two –

According to some of the research, earlier the preference would be given to the fresh embryo transfer but now with time, the scenario has changed. As the modern techniques have increased, more and more focus is on the frozen embryo transfer. Many higher studies have also shown that woman who adopt for frozen embryo transfer, might face lesser risk as compared to in the fresh embryo transfer. It is not always true that these embryos can remain in storage. With the help of many medications and IVF treatments the expenses and the cost associated with this can be easily reduced. In the end it can be concluded that both the options can have its advantages and disadvantages. The above both the options are best for their own results as far as the efficiency of live birth and successful pregnancy is considered.

Now a day, majority of the couples asks doctors for choosing which type of embryo transfer, the need and desire of the parenthood turns them to take the decision of adopting these modern techniques.
