What Are Infertility Issues That Late Marriage Couples Face

by adminon 12 September 2019in IVF

Quick Enquiry

The modern lifestyle and its demands on the people have led to the postponement of the marriage date of many people. Whether it is a man or a woman, people are getting married late. While it takes a lot of focus and hard work to establish oneself as a professional, it requires a lot of time as well. With all the focus on establishing oneself as a thorough professional, it is quite normal that the people have little time left for pursuing relationships. The financial aspect plays a significant role in marriage. The youngsters don’t want to shoulder the responsibility of marriage before having substantial financial security. Though the decision may be completely logical from the professional and financial points of view, it doesn’t quite go well with the biological clock of human beings.

Repercussions of marrying late

Marrying late means trying to conceive at an older age which might not be very good news as far as fertility is concerned. It is only in their 30s or 40s do they tie the knot and try to conceive. However, they soon realize that it may not be a very good idea to expect the body to be as responsive as it was in their 20’s. The couples below 35 can wait for 1 year for conceiving. The couples above 35 can wait for 6 months to get the good news. If they do not get the good news within this period,  it means that they must get their fertility checked.

IVF and infertility

As mentioned the cause of the failure to conceive may lie in the man, the woman or both. Visit a doctor and he will suggest some tests which will determine the fertility level of both the partners. After the evaluation, the IVF doctor will suggest a suitable method for treatment. IVF is one of the main methods used under this treatment. IVF is a primary infertility treatment technique wherein the process of fertilization of the egg is carried out in the IVF centre lab. This is done after extracting the egg from the woman’s body and the sperm from the man’s body. Multiple embryos are formed after fusion and kept under observation. The best quality embryos are selected and implanted back into the woman’s body. After hopefully successful implantation, the woman gets a positive pregnancy report. IVF indeed is a boon of modern medical science to the infertile couples who would otherwise have low chances of becoming parents.
