Medical Solution to Get Pregnant with Blocked Fallopian Tubes

Medical Solutions To Get Pregnant With Blocked Fallopian Tubes

by adminon 11 April 2019in blocked fallopian tubes

Quick Enquiry

One of the main cause of infertility in women is due to a blocked fallopian tube. You can conceive even if one fallopian tube is open and not damaged. But, if both of them are blocked then it creates difficulty for the couple to conceive naturally.

You should not worry if you are facing a problem as blocked fallopian tubes treatment is available. We have mentioned them below so that you can understand them properly. But always keep in mind that you should consult the doctor about the treatment as they will guide it according to your problem and by evaluating your health condition.

  • IVF (In-Vitro-Fertilization)

IVF is one of the best options for treatment available to treat the problem. Moreover, the success rate of this method is quite high as compared to other methods of treatment.  During the treatment, the women are given fertility hormone so that the egg production is stimulated. Once the eggs are matured enough, they will be retrieved from the ovaries. After that, the sperm and egg are put together so that they can get fertilized. One or two healthy embryos are selected which will be transferred back to the women’s reproductive tract which will help in achieving the successful pregnancy.

  • Tubal ligation Reversal

Tubal ligation is a kind of birth control for the women who want to delay their pregnancy. In this there are different possibilities which doctor can consider such as clamping them, banding them, cutting them or placing specialized coils. But some women regret getting this, but you should feel worried as this issue can be reversed with the treatment. During the surgery, the tubes are connected again so that the eggs can move freely and sperm can easily reach the egg for fertilization. This method is less expensive as compared to other options. Moreover, the success rate for this option is between 40% to 70%.

  • Laparoscopic Surgery

Another option to open the blocked tube or treat the scar is with laparoscopic surgery. But one thing which you have to keep in mind is the success of this treatment depends on your age. This means at the age of 40, if you have a healthy fallopian tube then the chances are around 20% to 40%. Your doctor will closely monitor your health and after that, he will tell you which option will be best for you.

It is best you consult the best fertility specialist as they will guide you better about the entire procedure and which method of treatment will suit you better.
