The problem of infertility is very common and increasing gradually, according to the research by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). Additionally, the women between the age of 18 to 44, face trouble getting pregnant. In most cases, individuals don’t have control over the factors that contribute to infertility. Research shows that you need to have a healthy weight in order to conceive successfully. Keep in mind that it does not guarantee fertility but it increases the chances of pregnancy.
Overweight and fertility
If you are at a healthy weight, then the chances are your body is producing a healthy amount of estrogen. It is produced inside the women ovaries. But around 30% of estrogen is produced by the fat cells. If you are overweight, the additional fat cells will produce an extra amount of estrogen than required. Unfortunately, this will leave a very bad impact on fertility.

Not only it decreases the chances of a successful pregnancy, but obesity also influences the success rate for the treatment of fertility. There are high chances of miscarriage and the baby born might have birth defects. Even if women get pregnant if she is overweight, she might develop the issue of high blood pressure and gestational diabetes. The baby will not be delivered naturally because in this case the cesarean section is needed.
