        When we begin a vivid narration of parenthood, especially motherhood, the likes of Beyonce, Kim Kardashian, and Chrissy Teigen certainly inspire us in this field. The modern era has generally altered the way women look at pregnancy and raising children, making every woman yearn for it at whatever cost.

        However, the same era is also characterized by higher incidences of infertility affecting almost 49 million couples worldwide. Common reasons for infertility in both males and females include hormonal imbalances, diabetes, prolonged stress, medications, smoking, genetics, low sperm count among others. According to fertility experts, the below-mentioned foods will ideally help you become fertile again;

        • Poultry

        Just as an apple a day is known for keeping a day, just believe that an egg a day will surely help you become fertile. Although there is a wide range of poultry products, fertility experts confirm that chicken eggs are ideal for boosting a woman’s pregnancy rate. These eggs naturally have omega 3 fatty acids, vitamin D, and choline that strengthens the body and ease an inflammation.

        • Fatty Fish

        Salmon, oysters, tilapia, and sardines are considered ideal for women trying to conceive and also during pregnancy. This is because they have a lower quantity of mercury considered to other types. It is advisable that you choose fresh fish types and from ideal grocery stores. Fish has a good amount of fatty acids plus proteins that improve pregnancy chances.

        • Iron & Folic Acid Sources

        Iron is absolutely essential for increasing blood levels that results in proper circulation to the uterine region before and during pregnancy. You can get iron from various vegetables such as spinach, kale, whereas you can obtain folic acid from lentils, avocados, cabbages, broccoli, okra among others. Generally, a variety of green leafy vegetables will help you reduce the effects of endometriosis and fibroids.

        • Fruits & Vitamins

        Oranges, Bananas, lemons, pineapples, pomegranates, and red wine (a quarter a glass) are suitable sources of vitamins such as vitamin C, D, and vitamin B6. Red wine is considered to contain powerful antioxidants that include resveratrol, catechin, and epicatechin to help you clear your bloodstream.

        • Dairy

        Introducing a variety of dairy products in your meals will certainly improve your ovulation levels. Milk, yoghurt, cheese, and butter are recommended to boost your conception chances. With every meal, end it with yoghurt or make sure that it contains cheese. You should also befriend milk products.

        • Spices

        You certainly have to spice up your food delicacies with garlic, turmeric, and chilli. According to studies, chilli helps in increasing metabolism (temporarily), whereas a combination of chilli, garlic, and turmeric serves as a good source of antioxidants.
